How to install PS8000 Drivers and Utility for Win2000 and XP

Important: Before you start with this procedure uninstall any previous Driver and Utility you installed before completely: 
    1. Before you install the PS8000 Driver you have to up-date your ASPI Manager by installing the ASPI Driver 4.70. Please follow the instruction in the ReadMe ASPI4.70.pdf file. Download ASPI Driver 4.70 (440 KB)to a folder of your choice. Un-zip the aspi_v470.exe to the folder suggested. Up-date your PC via the ASPIINST.EXE file in the un-zipped program. 

    2. Download PS8KW2K1.EXE (1,224 KB), PS8KW2K2.EXE (1,117 KB) and PS8KW2K3.EXE (678 KB) to a folder of your choice.

    3. Un-zip PS8KW2K1.EXE, *2.EXE and *3.EXE to the folder C:PS8000 suggested bythe un-zip program.

    4. Select ' Start > Run ' .
    Specify C:\PS8000\WIN2000\DISK1\SETUP.EXE "/T"
    Note: Make sure you insert a space between SETUP.EXE and "/T"!

    You will now see this window on your screen:

    Click OK and finish the Installation.
    Do not forget to connect your SCSI port!

    Note: After Installation select ' Start > Settings > Printers ' and in the PrinterFolder select Panasonic KX-PS8000 > Properties > Device Settings and adjustthe Printer Memory to the installed Memory in your PS8000.

    You also might want to change in > Printing Preferences > Advanced Optionsunder Document Options > Output Order to Face Up and check the defaultpaper size/format.
